Residentials in the great outdoors

Conway Centres
conwaycentres.co.uk

With four centres across Cheshire and North Wales, Conway Centres offers progressive educational residential visits in the great outdoors. From discovering natural habitats in the forest at Delamere to building resilience at the Anglesey centre, Conway Centres has something for every school…

Delamere

Nestled in Delamere Forest, this centre is perfect for a child’s first ever residential. Immersed in nature, the cosy Delamere centre is a home away from home for young visitors. From discovering natural habitats in the forest to investigating streams, all of the activities link to the curriculum and are integrated into the forest setting.

Burwardsley

From the Iron Age roundhouse to an archaeological dig, the Burwardsley centre is perfect for children to be immersed in the history curriculum.

Schools tend to bring their children in the first part of the academic year to bring learning to life. When children return to school, they will instantly be inspired and can apply everything they learned on their residential to their schoolwork.

“When children return to school, they will instantly be inspired and can apply everything they learned on their residential to their schoolwork.”

Tattenhall

The Tattenhall centre is the largest Cheshire centre and is the perfect step up after Burwardsley.

From challenging themselves up the tree climb to reaching new heights on the zipline, children will support and encourage each other as they take on new adventure challenges. With arts space also available, many schools that visit have a mix of arts and adventure activities.

Do you have a specific topic or goal you want to link your residential to? Let the team know and they will create a bespoke programme just for your school.

Anglesey

The largest centre on Anglesey is home to high adventure, making it perfect for older primary school children. Picture this… a morning spent navigating the tide on the Menai Strait in a kayak followed by an afternoon abseiling down the real quarry.

Children and young people will experience true adventure, building resilience, boosting self-esteem and working together. When children visit Anglesey they take away far more than just fantastic memories…
