This pack turns the poem into a mini performance, with the lines of the poem being narrated and broken up using improvised scenes, mime, and short role-plays.
It works well with KS1 and KS2, as they enjoy the gruesome nature of it, and can be used as part of an assembly on ‘telling lies’, or to support exploration of narrative poetry.
