She has over 20 years’ experience working with EAL pupils in primary and secondary schools across the UK and internationally.

A specialist leader of education (SLE) for EAL, Beth holds a postgraduate diploma in teaching bilingual learners and a master’s in language education, both awarded with distinction. She previously led EAL provision as head of EAL in a large Manchester academy and as a leading teacher for EAL with a local authority. Now, through her consultancy, she supports schools and multi-academy trusts with tailored CPD, audits, INSETs and strategic planning for EAL provision.

A regular guest lecturer on SCITT programmes, Beth enjoys inspiring the next generation of teachers to make EAL a priority.
