There are multiple international sporting events taking place in summer 2024. Use them to inspire your students to practise talking about sports in French, German or any other target language.
Dip into this selection of fun games and classroom activities as starters, stand-alone activities or for a whole lesson. Some activities may also be suitable for flipped learning or homework.
The answers are provided after each activity and some tasks include printable PDFs. Keep track of student scores if you wish to find and reward an overall class winner.

- Where next? – In your chosen language, pitch why your chosen country should be the host of the next Olympic / Paralympic games
