Located close to Southampton and just minutes from the motorway, Paultons Park is the perfect venue for students of any age. Consistently ranking as one of the top theme parks in the UK, it offers free parking, short queue times and a simple booking procedure – perfect for busy teachers!
With a vast range of rides and attractions to suit all key stages, the park is set within beautiful gardens and also hosts a range of birds and animals. Opening in May 2026 will be Valgard – a Viking land, containing the park’s most thrilling rollercoaster ever – just the thing to challenge even the bravest students!
How does the trip link to the curriculum?
Paultons Park offers a wide range of curriculum-based sessions, all of which are designed and taught by qualified teachers. Popular sessions include Rollercoaster Forces and Ride Programming for KS2, while younger students can access zoo mini-meets with keepers.
Newly added is a range of maths workshops designed for KS3/KS4, along with very popular business studies sessions.
