They’ll observe the factors which led to some cities, states or civilizations falling into antiquity.

You can use this resource in class as a discussion starter or give it as homework. You could also base an essay or presentation assignment around it. It includes keys and all the material you need. You can just print and roll with it in your class without preparation.

In this activity, students will share their feelings about what they consider as threats to their world. They’ll also get inspiration for what they can do to change things.

History of climate change

Although climate change is now a much bigger and more globalised problem than in the past, ancient peoples did have to contend with local events that severely disrupted or even ended their way of life as they knew it.

Browse more relevant articles, videos and pictures from Ancient History Encyclopedia which will help pupils understand these dramatic events.

World History Encyclopedia is a non-profit organisation publishing the world’s most-read history encyclopedia. Browse more free teaching materials. You can also take a look at more of our climate change resources.
