More than 450 products and publications were nominated for the Teach Primary Resource Awards between March and May 2018. These were whittled down to a 55-strong finalists shortlist, and from this our panel of primary subject experts selected 33 resources, bestowing five-star, four-star and three-star prizes in each category.
Among the winners there are online learning platforms and resources, reward schemes, planning documents, training manuals, augmented reality systems and musical instruments, plus a wide array of resources to promote learning across the primary stage. You will find a complete list of those who have received awards below.
Commenting on the announcement of the winners, Teach Primary editor, Elaine Bennett, said, “This is the first time we have put the call out to the sector, but the response has been fantastic and we have some very worthy winners to share. It is an incredibly diverse list, but every resource and publication has something to offer primary settings.”
She continues, “We would like to thank all those who took part in the Teach Primary Resource Awards 2018, and our ten judges for their time and expertise. We look forward to opening nominations for 2019 in the not too distant future, and building on the success of this year’s awards.”
You will find full coverage of this year’s winning resources, including pictures and comments from our judges, in Teach Primary issue 12.7.
