In Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, our titular hero acquires a second-hand textbook once owned by someone who called himself the Half Blood Prince, and he uses the notes in the book to his own advantage.
Throughout the story, Dumbledore tries to provide Harry with the knowledge he will need to ultimately defeat Voldemort. As the long-ago prophecy stated: ‘Neither can live while the other survives.’

Half Blood Prince project for schools
Use the ideas in this pack to make a Harry Potter book trailer. This will help pupils to improve their scriptwriting, public speaking and video production skills.
Children should first work out what they would like to say about the book, and make sure they include basic information, like the title, author and publisher. Beyond that, they need to explain what the book is about without giving too much away.
