This activity pack has been designed for both Key Stage 1 and 2 and covers game creation without the need for programming skills that pupils may be learning in other aspects of the computing curriculum.
Pupils will need access to the free Sketch Nation website or the free Sketch Nation app on iPad or Android.
In some of the activities pupils can use images saved from the web so this could be done prior or during lessons.
Games could be based on a theme or topic being covered in other lessons.
Pupils can use the video tutorials in their Game Creation Activity Pack.
Used in over 700 Primary Schools, iLearn2 is a Primary Computing website for teachers and pupils that includes over 100 activity packs to use across the Primary age range. Get more resources from iLearn2 here and on its website, ilearn2.co.uk, you can also follow on Twitter at @iLearn2primary.
