What will students see and do?

Take your students’ learning outside the classroom with the Horstead Centre’s residential trips and activity days.

Located on the edge of the Norfolk Broads between Norwich and the North Norfolk coast, the centre provides a range of exciting activities and hands-on learning experiences to engage and inspire students.

Pupils can explore the river environments and ecosystems in a canoe along the River Bure or boost their teamwork skills with team challenges such as nightline, spider’s web and toxic waste.

Teach students how to build confidence and self-esteem through games that promote physical activity for children, including stand-up paddleboarding, zip wires and climbing walls.

After a long day, pupils can relax and unwind with a rambling walk along the Norfolk trails. Or why not help your students unlock their creativity with environmental art that children will love?
