Objective: A lesson plan that sees pupils choose a favourite book and proceed to study a particular character, thinking about their behaviour and personality. The general aims of the lesson are:

• To develop descriptive writing and speaking • Have pupils demonstrate an understanding of story elements • To bring characters and books to life
