This worksheet has four sentences each missing one or two ‘ow’ words: blow, bow, arrow, pillow, snowman, yellow.
These words are listed at the top of the sheet, and children need to use their comprehension skills to write each one into the gaps in the sentences.
Jelly and Bean’s reading scheme follows the phonic progression of the UK government’s Letters and Sounds, including the introduction of the first 100 high-frequency words, followed by the next 200 words also. Download more of its resources here or on its website at jellyandbean.co.uk.
