This is an independent piece of writing following a two- to three-week sequence based on I Don’t Believe it, Archie! by Andrew Norriss.
The story follows an episodic pattern and this writing provides an additional chapter for the book, mimicking the author’s style and plot structure but with an original idea for the story.
Students are tasked with spotting spelling, punctuation and grammar errors and analysing the language.
No Nonsense Literacy is an online programme combining teaching sequences for writing with assessment support and guidance for all your planning and assessment needs. Download more of its resources here or on its website at nononsenseliteracy.co.uk.
