This worksheet pack features five sheets, one for each of the vowels.
For ‘a’, ‘e’, ‘o’, and ‘u’ each worksheet features seven CVC words, missing the appropriate vowel in the middle.
Children need to write the vowel in for each, to practise their letter formation, then draw a line from each words to the matching picture.
For the ‘i’ worksheet there are four CVC words were the vowel is ‘i’, and four matching images. Children need to write the correct word under each image to practise their letter formation. Plus, there’s also a small word search for them to find these four words.
Jelly and Bean’s reading scheme follows the phonic progression of the UK government’s Letters and Sounds, including the introduction of the first 100 high-frequency words, followed by the next 200 words also. Download more of its resources here or on its website at jellyandbean.co.uk.
