Two-page PDF lesson plan
KS2
Years 3-6
The London 2012 organisers chose seven values to embody the spirit of the Games: respect, excellence, friendship, courage, determination, inspiration and equality. This RE lesson helps you explore one value with your class – respect.
Children will explore how respect is about how we show our values – what matters to us, learn that it can be shown in a variety of ways, both to people and to the things they value, and weigh up and explore attitudes to how we personally treat other people, their beliefs and values.
