LEGO® Education presents BricQ Motion series which engages primary and secondary students in STEAM learning as they experiment with forces, motion and interactions in the context of sports.
BricQ Motion provides easy, hands-on learning experiences that spark cool “aha” moments, as students set LEGO bricks in motion without the need for technology.
The NEW LEGO® BricQ Motion Essential will give your primary students an understanding of forces and motion as they plan and conduct investigations.
In the curriculum unit Train to Win, lower elementary students will work towards determining whether design solutions work as they were intended to change the speed or direction of an object with a push or a pull.
In the curriculum unit Winning with Science, upper elementary students will investigate the patterns in an object’s motion, developing and sharpening their ability to predict future motion.
This 523-piece set includes four mini-figures and a variety of easy-build elements, like gears, weighted bricks, springs and more.
The colour-coded sorting trays ease the building process and make end-of-class clean-up quick and efficient. The new numbered tiles facilitate visual maths practice, making maths more relevant, creative and fun.
The set also includes replacement elements and two printed building instructions booklets with inspirational ideas to help pupils, even those who have never built with LEGO bricks before, discover physical science in action.
This introductory STEAM experience offers 2 units (designed for years 1-3 and 4-6 pupils respectively) of curriculum-aligned lessons that include engaging videos and printable worksheets to excite and inspire pupils; and lesson plans, teacher videos, assessment rubrics and maths and literacy extensions to support and scaffold teachers.
BricQ Motion Essential is also supported by a comprehensive professional development programme. This is a personalized learning programme that inspires teachers to learn, practice, and master competencies that support playful, hands-on STEAM learning with maximum impact on pupils’ outcomes.
With BricQ Motion Essential you can also continue the classroom learning experience wherever your pupils are with the Personal Learning Kit.
A powerful extension of the LEGO Education classroom set, this Personal Learning Kit enable teachers to continue delivering STEAM curricula while driving strong learning outcomes in a hybrid learning environment.
This 62-element supplementary kit for primary school pupils includes building instructions and enrichment lessons designed to be used by one pupil at a time.
Designed to work together with the classroom sets, this supplementary STEAM learning experience comes with additional teaching resources and Pupil Worksheets that deepen pupils’ understanding of what they’ve learned during class for a true hybrid learning experience.
