Discover the filmmaking magic
During your school trip, students will walk through the world-famous authentic sets of the Harry Potter film series, ride a broomstick and board the original Hogwarts Express at Platform 9 ¾TM.
They’ll learn behind-the-scenes secrets and discover the incredible artistry involved in bringing Harry Potter to the big screen.
Throughout the Studio Tour, our team are on hand to assist with any additional needs, and sensory bags, including ear defenders, are available to collect from the Information Desk. We also have two Sensory Rooms located within the Studio Tour, which can be used as a quiet space when needed.
Pre-bookable Audio Descriptive Tours are available, as are Tactile Tours, where visually impaired students can touch authentic props and fabrics from the Harry Potter film series. Please ask one of our Interactors during your Studio Tour about our Tactile Tours and they will be happy to support you.

Your school visit includes a free 45-minute lesson, planned and taught by qualified teachers in our purpose-built classrooms. Lessons are subject to availability and must be booked in advance.
Our cross-curricular education programme meets learning objectives from the national curriculum and exam board specifications. Young minds will be stimulated as they discover the extraordinary artistry, technology and talent that went into creating the Harry Potter film series.
During our new Creating Creatures lesson, students will explore features of creature descriptions in the Harry Potter books and learn how some of the magical creatures were brought to life in the film series – from animatronics to computer-generated images – before designing their own.
