What is it?

Read&Write is a literacy toolbar with features to support every student, from English language learners to SEN students, from high achievers to those in low attainment groups; everyone can feel supported in class, at home, during revision and in exams (where appropriate access arrangements are in place).
At a touch of a button, text can be transformed to improve student comprehension, personalised to their own learning style.
Features like Text-to-Speech, Translation, Audio and Picture Dictionaries, Text Prediction, grammar and punctuation checkers and smart Highlighters help students with independent study and revision.
Not only that, Voice Notes enable direct verbal feedback from within a student’s assignment, and Vocabulary List and Audio Maker allow differentiation of materials, removing the need to create bespoke learning materials on an individual basis, saving teaching time for other classroom activities.
Read&Write is grounded in the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), making information inclusive, and providing every student with multiple means to express and engage with content, entirely on their terms.
