Bin It! to the BEAT from Mars Wrigley

What is it?

Help pupils learn about the values of keeping their local area clean. Bin It! to the Beat offers a free assembly, lesson plans and a fun memorable dancing animation.

Bin It! has been run for 14 years supporting primaries to protect their local environment. Bin It! to the Beat is a free teaching resource that supports pupils by raising awareness about the importance of binning their litter.

It’s available for teachers to use at biniteducation.com/resources.

Included in the resource is a ready-made assembly, classroom lesson plans and the catchy attention-grabbing animation, all ready to be used now as well as being completely free.

These tools mean that you can help your school tackle the issues of littering all year round.

Bin It! is supported by Mars Wrigley which has a longstanding commitment to help tackle litter issues in UK schools, and is delivered in association with Defra, Keep Britain Tidy, Keep Scotland Beautiful, Keep Wales Tidy and Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful.

Litter topics need to be tackled in schools and as Bin It! to the Beat is used across the UK, Mars Wrigley wants to hear your stories about how your school tackles litter.

The best stories will be included in the Mars Wrigley blog. Email them to: creative@rapportgroup.com.

“Any time litter hits the local news we run Bin It! lessons to remind pupils about the importance of proper disposal.”
