Have you joined FIRST® LEGO® League Explore, the exciting STEM programme for six-to-nine-year-olds?
This is more than just building with LEGO®. It’s a gateway to coding, curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. Through hands-on STEM learning, children can develop essential skills that support both academic and personal growth.
Thinking about getting involved?
FIRST® LEGO® League Explore enables students to focus on the fundamentals of engineering while experiencing hands-on problem solving. Teams will learn to design, code and discover real-world solutions using LEGO® bricks. Powered by LEGO® Education SPIKETM Essentials.
Teams will discuss this year’s UNEARTHED℠ archaeological theme through LEGO® build and play, storytelling and producing poster projects. It’s a perfect way to forge new friendships and boost confidence and resilience, all while sparking the imagination.
The theme includes guidance on how to run sessions in schools, libraries or after-school clubs. Resources are available and provide support on how to run the programme and detail student activities.
There is even a section for hosting your own in-house festival to celebrate learning.

These in-house celebrations are a brilliant way to showcase what children have learned – they’re flexible, fun, and can be tailored to your setting, whether it’s a classroom, library, or community hall.
Everything you need will be provided, including festival planning guides, certificates and celebration materials.
