New package from dance education specialist contains nearly 200 lessons
imovesdance.com has launched a new package of resources aimed at making primary-level PE teaching easier and more effective.
The company’s PE package comprises nearly 200 lessons, with activities that span gymnastics, pilates, yoga, football, basketball, tag rugby, and athletics. Each lesson is designed to cut down on required planning and is supported by guidance for teachers, assessment tools, expert-led videos, music and other materials.
The package builds on imovesdance.com’s existing dance package, which includes 160 dance lessons – some themed around classic forms of dance familiar to viewers of Strictly Come Dancing, and others that can form part of cross-curricular activities, such two focusing on the Romans and Stonehenge.
The company also delivers tailored CPD staff workshops to help schools improve the quality of their PE and dance teaching.
