Several tasks all based on an Edexcel GCSE question about fractions, ratio and percentages of an amount.
These tasks are designed to improve students’ mathematical reasoning and were created as part of the Mathematical Reasoning at GCSE project run by Cambridge Maths Hub.
The tasks vary in difficulty, and include different ways to calculate and compare fractions, percentages and ratios of an amount. They are not intended to be used all together; just pick and choose one or two suitable ones for your class.
