Tech for Teachers is a unique awards scheme, with genuine classroom impact at its heart. In order to be recognised by our judges, products and resources must be as effective as they are innovative, demonstrating clear benefits for teaching and learning, value for money, and long-term potential (we aren't interested in fads - because schools aren't, either).
Entries are invited across six, curriculum-linked categories, and - in order that as wide a range of submissions as possible can be considered - are absolutely free. Our winners will be chosen by an expert panel of teachers, leaders, consultants and writers with direct experience of the secondary sector.
Everyone who is shortlisted in the Tech for Teacher awards can expect an impressive range of coverage in both our online and print reach; see our seven reasons to enter below...
Special coverage of the shortlist and award winners in 17,500 copies of Technology & Innovation magazine, and 20,000 copies of Teach Secondary.
Shortlist and winners will be showcased on teachwire.net, which has 65,000 unique teacher visitors each month.
4,000 copies of Technology & Innovation, featuring the awards, to be placed in the hands of visitors to BETT 2019.
@teachsecondary and @teachwire will celebrate the shortlist and winners with 13k followers.
Twitter support comes from a high-profile judging panel, which in previous years has included Mark Chambers , and Dr Keven P Stenson.
The results will be the focus of a special newsletter, sent to 21k subscribers.
Last year's winners included LyricsTraining – a free, online resource that helps young people develop their language skills through music videos and song lyrics; HegartyMaths, which is rapidly becoming one of the most popular and comprehensive maths platforms around; and Class VR, about which our judge said, "after experiencing it, I wouldn't want to offer anything less to my pupils." See the full list of winners here.
