Are you a Humanities specialist with SEND experience?

Are you passionate about providing a high standard of education to vulnerable young people?
We are looking for a SEND Humanities Teacher for a popular PRU in Wakefield that is looking to expand over the coming months. The service is a specialist provision who provide education to young people with SEMH needs who have been excluded from mainstream education. Your role will involve delivering exciting and engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4. Each day is a fresh start and each pupil is encouraged to build on their successes and learn from their mistakes.
The ideal SEND Humanities teacher will have the following:
UK QTS (NQTs welcome) with SEND experience
A specialism in Humanities and the ability to teach across KS3 and KS4
The ability to follow the National Curriculum and provide creative lessons
Positive approach to teaching children with SEND
The ability to build good relationships with the staff and pupils
Fantastic classroom management
In return the successful candidate will receive:
