To be successful, you will be conscientious Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant who has a second class degree at the very least and previous experience supporting children. The right applicant will have a shared passion for improving the lives of children with SEN. You will be a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant who can enthuse others with your passion for your specialist area. Ideally, the school need a graduate who is able to inspire continual motivation in their pupils and be charismatic and passionate in their mannerisms.
About the Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant Role
This Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant position involves joining the school in a general role, not assigned to any particular class or department and you will be monitoring the progress of pupils in the classroom. To help raise attainment in targeted areas, you will lead small booster sessions outside of the classroom to reinforce the Literacy and Numeracy skills of your pupils. Day-to-day, you will be using interactive learning areas to create a superb teaching and learning environment that lays the foundations on which the class teacher can provide an 'Outstanding' education. You will be nurtured to teaching success as you are mentored by an accomplished Class Teacher.
