A 'Good' primary school in Blackpool are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant for 2.5 terms to work on a 1:1 basis with an Autistic pupil (to start November 2019).

ASD Specialist Teaching Assistant - Blackpool

- Full time position

- £9 - £11.50 per hour

- 6 hours per day

- November 2019 start

Role Information

For this position as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant it is highly desirable that you have worked with young pupils on the Autistic spectrum. You will be working on a 1:1 basis with a Year 1 pupil in the Primary setting. When working with this pupil you are responsible for making all work accessable, alongside with working on their social and academic skills. This positions will be extremely rewarding and is ideal for a caring, patient and determined individual.
