As a teacher of Music Technology, you will have experience of teaching this subject to pupils with a range of vulnerabilities, challenging behaviour or SEND, and above all, have the desire and drive to see the most vulnerable young people in society succeed. Experience of teaching NCFE Level 1 and Level 2 Music Technology or equivalent specifications is desired. You will be an energetic, highly resilient and adaptable individual who can ensure challenges are met and problems are solved. A high level of understanding of SEMH, SEND, safeguarding, equality and fairness are very important, as well as a good sense of humour, openness and compassion; all of which will be needed in this role to support young people through these challenging times. If you are the teacher that vulnerable pupils seem to gravitate towards or who all the ‘naughty’ children get sent to, then this setting may well be for you. Working with small classes of up to 8 pupils, you will deliver your subject to ensure that all young people you teach make at least expected progress towards becoming independent learners. The ideal candidate will find this post challenging, exciting, varied and fulfilling. You will be working across the College with a range of dedicated staff who all want to achieve the best possible outcomes for our cohort of young people.
Application form, Job Description and Person Specification can be downloaded from this site or the vacancies page of the Haybrook College website. Completed application form should be emailed to email@example.com by 9am on Monday 24th May. Interviews will be held on Wednesday 26th May.
