The successful applicant will be a charismatic and bright Humanities Teacher who has a history of 'Good' or better teaching and can transmit their belief in education well in class. This Humanities Teacher position involves becoming an important part of the innovative Humanities team. Your teaching will include GCSE and A-Level classes where you must be prepared to meet the challenges of pupils approaching their main exams. Your duties will include joining a cohesive department of like-minded teachers who share responsibility and experiences. This Humanities Teacher position involves moving your career in the right direction by taking an active role in CPD, using the training and development opportunities on offer to grow as a teacher. Using the department's well managed equipment, the learning experience of your pupils will be enhanced as will your teaching ability. Your duties will include teaching with the full support of a Teaching Assistant, exploring the pedagogical options when more than one practitioner is in the class. Day-to-day, you will be helping to manage the influx of pupils opting to take this subject at GCSE and A-Level through sharing the workload. The Humanities Department has employed the use of specialist subject software to assist with its goal of high academic achievement and student engagement. Through the expert leadership of the successful Head of Humanities you will be able to maintain a high level of motivation and reap the rewards of the hard-work and commitment you provide. This Humanities Teacher position involves using the exciting resources at your disposal (interactive whiteboards) to deliver a truly modern, exciting education.
