Smile Education are supply agency based in Central Birmingham. We are currently looking to recruit a number of Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 Teachers to assist our client schools in their supply needs. Candidates post NQT and Teach First Graduate are encouraged to apply. This is a fantastic opportunity for Teachers who fancy a career change, or would like to transit to part time due to family commitments.

With the effects of COVID-19 the need for supply teachers across the Birmingham area is even more robust than usual. Schools are looking for experienced Class Teachers to provide good quality cover to ensure pupils continue to make good progress following the ongoing lock-down’s. Supply work is on an ad-hoc basis and can vary from a single day to a two-week booking (for example in the case of self-isolation).

We are currently searching for Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 Teachers, from September 2021. Year group allocation would depend on the applicant’s placement history and specialism. Candidate’s should be familiar with the UK Secondary Curriculum with schemes of work GCSE, BTECs and Alevel. Opportunities do exist for longer-term placements should applicants wish to pursue this at a later date.

We are looking for candidates in and around the Birmingham area, we work very closely with our client schools to ensure we find you the best possible roles in schools which will compliment your own style as a practitioner.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

- Hold a relevant UK Teaching Qualification with QTS
- Knowledge of the UK Secondary Curriculum
- Able and willing to travel in and around Birmingham area
