About the Mowbray Education Trust
The Mowbray Education Trust (MET) is a multi-academy trust currently educating around 2,500 children from the ages of 2 to 16 in the town of Melton Mowbray and surrounding villages. The MET currently has one secondary school, five primary schools and one pre-school; with potential numerical and geographical growth in the future.
Melton Mowbray is a rural market town in Leicestershire which is easily commutable from Grantham, Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham and Oakham.
We are seeking to recruit a temporary full time Teacher to start Easter 2020 until July 2020. This is to cover a KS1 class therefore experience would be desirable.
Educated to degree level
Must hold a recognised Teaching qualification e.g. BED, PGCE.
Must hold Qualified Teacher status (or about to gain QTS).
Recent Primary Teaching experience.
Excellent knowledge of the Primary Curriculum.
A solid understanding of how children learn to their full potential.
A working knowledge of target setting and assessment for learning procedures to inform future planning, teaching and learning and in turn achieve high standards.
A working knowledge of planning and delivering a creative curriculum.
Knowledge and understanding of the principles behind Safeguarding and Inclusion policies.
