Science Teacher - Person Specification
To be considered for this role you must be a confident and creative Science Teacher who has ideally worked in an environment with a high number of SEN pupils previously and can motivate and inspire your pupils. Your portfolio will include a teaching method that inspires your pupils to achieve their best. The perfect candidate will be able to impress the SLT with their innate ability to build strong rapports with both pupils and fellow teachers. The school wants to see Science Teachers who have a grasp of how to best negotiate any behavioural problems that may arise, using tact, skill and temperament to retain authority within the classroom.
About the Science Teacher Role
You will be becoming an important part of the popular Science team and you will be joining a department with a fantastic amount of resources . Graduate Teaching Assistants are hired every year, with enough for one in every class for all teachers who want them. As a vital member of the Science team you will be in the perfect position to get your teaching career off of the ground through the support of a brilliant CPD scheme.
