In this exciting Maths Teaching Assistant position, you will be supporting teaching and learning across the Maths department which is extremely successful thanks to their innovative approach to teaching. Your duties will include moving into the popular Maths Department from September and working with students who enjoy learning Maths. As a Maths Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with the teaching staff, helping to plan and prepare top quality lessons and interesting, relevant assignments. The SLT are happy to provide mentors for all support staff, yours will be a talented Outstanding Maths Teacher who can inspire graduates new to teaching through gentle encouragement and setting a great example of how teaching ought to be done. You will have the responsibility of working with pupils in class, on a 1:1 basis or in small groups and communicating frequently with the Head of Maths. For this post, you must be a professional Maths graduate who has comes with no less than a 2.1 degree in Mathematics, or related subjects and has the ability to convey your subject knowledge with ease to engaged and focused students. You will have the drive to inform and inspire pupils with your boundless enthusiasm for your subject and you will be a hard working individual who can take on the challenge of extra responsibility and contribute to the whole school.
