Located in Harrow, North West London this supportive primary school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant for a KS2 class. This is an immediate start, which would be full time until July 2021.
The school serves a diverse multicultural catchment area and is served well by the Met Line. The school also has a bus stop right outside, and a staff car park for those of you who like to drive. Recently graded as a good school, it is well supported by local parents, and has good resources and facilities set on large rounds.
They are now looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a KS2 class. The Headteacher has informed me the KS2 class is well behaved, enthusiastic to learn, and generally want to do well. The class teacher is experienced and in recent observations was graded good with outstanding features. General duties of a Teaching Assistant would be to support the teacher in all subjects across the curriculum. If successful you will work with the same class for the whole of the academic year, which would give you a great insight into planning and delivering good creative fun filled lessons.
This is an excellent Teaching Assistant opportunity and only for those graduates who have excelled in education, and can bring something different to the school. The Headteacher likes all of her Teaching Assistants to get involved with extra curriculum activities and after school clubs. If you can bring passion, creativity and enthusiasm this could be the perfect experience you need to apply for next years teacher training. The Headteacher has used many graduate Teaching Assistants in the past, and she knows what you can bring to her school, and what you will get from the experience. She has also offered to be a referee for any teacher training application, as long as you can commit to the school until July 2021.
If this sounds like a Teaching Assistant post you’d like, why not get in touch now by emailing a CV and covering letter to David at Edustaff.??
