What will students see and do?
If you’re looking for UK school trips to London, The Jewish Museum in London tells the story of British Jews. People, not objects, are the life and soul of this museum.
With a dynamic and vibrant exhibition and events programme on British Jewish life, the museum covers a huge amount of subjects in a variety of ways so that people of all different ages and backgrounds can connect and learn.
Great for both primary school trips and secondary school trip ideas, the museum’s vision is of a world where cultural diversity and the contribution of minority communities are explored, valued and celebrated for the enrichment of society as a whole, with this vision being the inspiration for their award-winning schools programme.
As well as school day trips to the museum, virtual school activities are available for primary and secondary school groups. Teachers can select a workshop topic that best suits their students with a guided exploration of the museum’s unique collection of authentic objects – enabling students to ask questions about what it means to be Jewish in Britain today.
