Review

Attempting to offer advice to teenagers regarding how they choose to live their life is something undertaken by only the boldest of authors – or at least, it should be.

Nicola Morgan is that most rare of creatures: a grown-up who is able to communicate with adolescents about stuff that really matters to them in a way that not only gets the key messages across, but does it without ever becoming patronising, judgemental, or (worst of all) embarrassingly try-hard.

As well as Positively Teenage, which is a uplifting guide on how to get the very best out of those notoriously turbulent years between childhood and becoming an adult, Morgan has also recently completed The Teenage Guide to Life Online (Walker Books, out from June 7th), to add to Blame My Brain, The Teenage Guide to Stress, The Teenage Guide to Friends and her popular classroom materials, Brain Sticks and Stress Well for Schools.
