Review

It is said that lies always catch up with you, but what if you’ve been lying your whole life?

Nora Tobias is a liar, who has developed a talent for devising untruths over the course of her life. Some minor, some ‘significant’.

Which is why she has now decided to clear her conscience by revealing the truth in what she calls “The chronicles of Nora”, covering a wide range of events – like her friendship with aspiring actor and party animal Bel, her life class teacher Mr Trace, and her supposed spiritual conversation with her late father, whilst sprinkling in pieces of her backstory throughout the narrative.

All culminating in an dramatic, explosive finale.

Nora’s story is written expertly by Grey, and the result is a gripping, memorable page turner that I am glad to have read.

An easy recommendation for any classroom or avid reader.
