Mars Wrigley Bin It! Website and Resources

What is it?

Bin It! is the most effective anti-littering resource to help students understand why it is important to take personal responsibility for litter disposal.

For the KS4 classroom the topic of litter no longer lies neglected on streets, mountains, in gutters, fields, on ocean beds, and beaches.

Litter themes can be in every school as teaching options, with specially created free resources available to all teachers at biniteducation.com.

Using a focus on media and business studies, the engaging resources challenge and teach students how to influence positive behaviour change around littering.

For the KS3 classroom Mars Wrigley has a longstanding commitment to tackling litter issues with the UK school theatre in education Bin It! tours, supported by online teaching resources for KS3.

Bin It! is delivered in association with Defra and all the major anti-littering organisations. Created and produced by specialist schools marketing agency, The Rapport Group, there are two tours every school year for the programme, which has been going for over 14 years.

Research proves Bin It! engages and entertains students, leading to changed behaviours. The second tour of 2019 kicks off the Autumn term visiting schools in Norfolk, Bedfordshire, Wales, Cornwall and the West Midlands.
