What is it?
UK Parliament offers a wide range of free online and print resources, which link to the curriculum and support primary and secondary teaching about Parliament, politics and democracy.
UK Parliament’s free resources support curriculums in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
They include online and printed activities with accompanying teacher notes, orderable booklets, assembly PowerPoints, games, lesson plans, videos and much more.
The teaching materials, which have been designed to suit different styles of learning, empower primary and secondary educators to teach topics across the citizenship, history, SMSC, modern studies and politics curriculums.
The resources are a perfect accompaniment to UK Parliament’s many other free education services, which include school trips, outreach sessions in your school, teacher training opportunities and special events, such as the annual UK Parliament Week.
