A ready-made framework to help you get outdoors and monitor children’s skills…
Outdoor education is hugely beneficial to learners but it has always been difficult to monitor improvements in skill and knowledge.
The WILD Passport curriculum provides a ready-made framework for outdoor learning practitioners and teachers to build their yearly programmes around, offering clear pathways of skill and knowledge advancement.
WILD Passport is built around five skill areas over five proficiency levels – Woodcraft, Shelter, Fire, Nature and Rope.
Available as a complete programme or as a modular approach with extension activities and links to the national curriculum, the WILD Passport provides a five-year curriculum from foundation to expert skills.
Designed as a flexible tool to support rather than dictate practice, WILD Passport is suitable to be run as part of existing outdoor learning approaches such as forest school or bushcraft provision.
Alternatively, it can be employed as a stand-alone programme meeting the specific needs of your setting.
Accredited level 3 training is available to support existing practitioners and those new to outdoor learning to develop the skills to run an effective outdoor learning programme based around the progression of measurable skills and outcomes, with a heavy emphasis on using practical outdoor skills in group settings.
