Education world are working with an Ofsted rated good primary school based in Barnsley who are looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP on a temp to perm basis. The ideal candidate for this role, must have early years’ experience, preferably in a reception or nursery class. You will be supporting teachers and other teaching assistants with play-based learning activities both indoors and outdoors. You should have a keen and practical approach and be prepared to get involved. SEN experience preferred but not essential.

The ideal candidate will have:
* The ability to work on own initiative.
* Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
* Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a primary school or Early years setting.
* The ability to set appropriate barriers and manage behaviour
* A nurturing attitude towards young children.
