Teacher of RE

Pay salary dependent on qualifications and experience

A secondary school within Stoke-on-Trent are looking for an inspiring teacher of RE to join their team of specialists within the department. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach RE to KS3 and KS4 pupils and will have the opportunity to deliver to KS5.

The minimum requirement for this position is to hold QTS and is open to newly qualified teachers (NQT/ECT).

About you

• Hold QTS (NQTs/ECTs welcome)

• Have recent, relevant, referenceable experience.

• Have the ability to engage with various abilities with strong communication skills.

• Must be able to obtain relevant references and DBS check*

• Have strong communication skills with the ability to quickly built a good rapport with students and staff

• A passion for working with children, in a calm and authoritative manner

• Be organised, reliable and trustworthy

• Excellent time management
