The Education Network are looking for Teaching Assistants based in Warrington and surrounding areas for short and long term roles at a range of SEN provisions
The role and requirements Supporting children across EYFS to KS4 to access education in an inclusive and accessible manner. Working closely with the class teacher to ensure the needs of the children are addressed and fully supportive. A keen desire to support all children in your care, many with complex needs. This may include personal care and moving and handling. A knowledge of how pupils learn, understanding of P levels and EYFS experience is a distinct advantage. Ideally you will have a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification and have experience working with a range of SEND such as ASD, ADHD, MLD, SLD, PMLD.
The Provisions The specialist schools that we support provide exceptional care and support for all the children. Class sizes are small, between 4-8 students per class and a high ratio of staff to pupils to provide plenty of support. You will be working collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the needs of the students are met.
