SANZA Teaching Agency is currently working with a two-form entry primary school based in the borough of Wandsworth currently looking for an ambitious and forward-thinking Teaching Assistant to join their team. This position is due to start mid-October 2021 and on full-time basis until the end of the academic year with an opportunity for a permanent contract for September 2022. The position of Teaching Assistant is paying a daily rate of £80.00 to £90.00 per day.
As a graduate Teaching Assistant your role will be to work in Year 4 and support the classroom teacher by helping supervise students in the classroom, work with children on an individual, small group or whole class basis. You will be required to ensure students are making regular progress and promote positive behaviour.
To be shortlisted for this graduate Teaching Assistant role, you will need to have
A university degree in English, Maths, Drama or History Good organisation skills Exceptional literacy and numeracy skills Patient with a sense of humour Confident in working independently or in a group setting Enjoy working with students and aspire to be a primary teacher This school is an inclusive school community and their pupils come from diverse cultures and backgrounds, with over 25 languages spoken by families.
