Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of our client secondary school in Darlington to recruit for a Qualified Teacher of Science. This will be a long-term position, teaching all Sciences to KS3/KS4 students in a “good” secondary school, with the outlook to permanent contract at the end of the academic year.
The Role
Full time position for a Science looking for a long-term position To start in November 2021 for the rest of the academic year School is open to accepting any specialism You will be fully supported in completing your NQT year You will be required to teach Science to secondary school pupils between the ages of 11-16 years (KS3 – KS4) Preparing and planning for lessons with marking required Following and promoting the school curriculum and pushing for highest attainment Pay between GBP125- GBP209.75 per day depending upon experience and qualifications Requirements for the Role:
Must have QTS and experience teaching Science to GCSE Willingness to take on some intervention groups and booster sessions Strong behaviour management with experience working with SEN pupils a preference Will have excellent subject knowledge and a desire to provide the best education to pupils Will be required to apply for a Child Workforce DBS, if you do not already have one on the update service The School
