Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are 3 months SEND experience in a school, care, or youth club setting.

The role
You will be responsible for supporting the teaching and learning process for a KS1 / Key Stage One Child with ASD. This is a temporary role in the first instance, however, will go permanent if all goes well.

You will be responsible for supporting a KS1 / Key stage One child on a 1:1 basis, Monday to Friday, 08:30-16:00.

Requirements
To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:

Experience of working with individuals who have a combination of learning, social, emotional or behavioural needs
Be able to work 8:30 – 16:00, Monday to Friday
Have an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to process one with us
Significant empathy with students who have additional educational needs
