Thumbs up for cloud-based solution.
It’s fair to say ReallySchool is enjoying Bett this year.
“We’re having a great show,” said Kat Cauchi, product manager for the cloud-based classroom management solution. “We were Bett finalists this year in the Classroom Aids for Learning, Teaching and Assessment category,” she explained. “We have a lot of new features that we’ve been sharing.”
Kat was clearly excited about the changes that have been made to make the product “even easier to use and more user friendly than it was before and help teachers with their time”. She was also enthused about the activities at Bett this year.
“We’ve got a lot going on here,” she said, “with [parent company] NetSupport Radio. We’ve been doing lots of interviews. and NetSupport is the official broadcaster for Bett Radio this year.”
Kat has enjoyed explaining to visitors how ReallySchool can make a difference to teachers’ lives. Applications include observations, assessments, tracking progress and communication with parents, and it can also be used for celebrating pupils’ success with the awarding of badges.
“It’s a way for teachers to manage daily tasks and streamline their work within regular hours rather than having to do it outside of school,” explained Kat. “It allows them to do a lot of things on the go, assessing as they go along. We’ve calculated savings of around two hours every day.”
Kat also reported plenty of positive feedback.
“We’ve been getting some really good feedback during the show. Teachers have been telling us they really like the product and how it works. They’ve commented on the ease of use and how it has a nice flexibility to it, which is really what we wanted to hear!”
